Zenyasa Academy offers continuing education in anatomy and movement, yoga philosophy, and teaching methodology. Courses are designed to help you understand the material rather than simply memorize it—and to use what you learn in your own practice and with the students you teach.

At Zenyasa Academy, courses are designed to make complex subjects approachable, practical, and relevant to the real work of teaching yoga.
Good teaching often begins with a pause: looking more closely, asking better questions, noticing patterns, and thinking through what you’re seeing in the person in front of you.
Whether you’re studying anatomy, adapting practices for different bodies and abilities, exploring yoga philosophy, or refining your teaching methodology, the emphasis is on deepening your understanding and then turning that understanding into skillful, responsive teaching.
Zenyasa Academy courses are built around three steps: understand the material, connect it to experience, and put it to use.
Learn the concepts, language, and principles behind the subject—not just the facts to memorize.
Connect what you study with what you experience in your own body, practice, and teaching.
Use what you’ve learned to observe more carefully and make better choices when responding to your students.
ASFYT 101 is the foundational course in the Anatomy Studies for Yoga Teachers curriculum. It introduces the language and principles you’ll use throughout the series, including anatomical terminology, joint structure and movement, planes of motion, basic biomechanics, and a practical framework for observing the body in motion.
Rather than memorizing disconnected facts, you’ll learn to recognize patterns, reason through movement, and build a functional understanding you can apply directly to your yoga teaching.

Courses at Zenyasa Academy are organized around four areas of study:
For years, teachers and movement professionals have described these courses as transformative—not because they simply learned more facts, but because they began to see bodies, movement, and teaching with greater clarity and confidence.
“This course gave me so many tools that I could immediately use in my group classes and private sessions. Jason is skilled at teaching how to step back, pause, and ask why. I feel like my sequences are more thoughtful, mindful and educational than ever before.”
“This has been the most beneficial course I have ever done. I now feel confident in working with clients who have injuries, and have a deeper understanding of the mechanisms of the body as a whole. I highly recommend this course for anyone in the movement industry.”
“The ASFYT course had been recommended to me by several excellent yoga teachers, but there’s no way anyone could’ve conveyed to me what turned out to be one of the best training courses that I’ve ever attended. I loved it, and learned more than I could have ever imagined.”
As a Yoga Alliance E-RYT 500 and Continuing Education Provider (YACEP), I offer courses that are structured to support eligible continuing education hours for registered yoga teachers.
Each course will clearly indicate the number and type of Yoga Alliance CE hours available, along with any completion requirements needed to receive a certificate.

Course-specific CE details will be listed on each course page.
